JSS Law college Model United Nations Club, 2015-16


On 1st April 2016, JSS Law College, Autonomous, Mysore, organized a Model United Nations (MUN) conference, providing students with a platform to engage in diplomatic simulations and discussions on global issues. The conference aimed to enhance students' understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the United Nations.

The MUN simulated the United Nations General Assembly, allowing participants to represent different countries and debate on various topics. The agenda for the conference was centered around international peace and security, reflecting the college's commitment to fostering discussions on critical global challenges.

The Secretary-General and Chairpersons for the MUN were students from JSS Law College, demonstrating their leadership and organizational skills in managing the conference. Their efforts ensured that the event was conducted smoothly and that participants were able to actively engage in debates and negotiations.

The MUN provided participants with a valuable learning experience, helping them develop skills such as research, public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking. It also fostered a sense of global citizenship among students, encouraging them to think beyond national boundaries and work towards collective solutions to global issues.
